Product Description
The Tuff Guard Flat Hose was developed from the same technology used in fire suppression hoses, and combines high performance in a lightweight and durable package. The patented Mertex inner lining provides lower friction loss than standard consumer flat hoses, and will not separate from the outer heavy duty textile weave. Brass connectors are rustproof, and the hose is resistant to most chemicals, petrol products, ozone & U.V. exposure, hydrolysis, and rot & mildew. Will remain flexible to -65 degrees F. Meets or exceeds all performance requirements of the National Fire Protection Association NFPA 1961 Standard. Great for garden use, where the lighter weight will not damage landscaping. The textile weave is gentle on vehicles, and makes storage easy in compact spaces such as boats or RVs.
